The best part about being a dad is discovering the true depths of our human capability to love deeply, madly. Every time i hear that sweet little voice unfolding itself like a new flower, or see her eyes opening to a new day, or slowly closing and returning to dream, i am reminded of my place in the universe…being a dad helps me understand space and time, in that the infinitely small can be the infinite all in one moment…usually a smile or the intoxicating smell of her baby skin.

The hardest part about being a dad is the weight of constant armor and the fear of unknown future battles…
